Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." 

The results of our sin is hell.  Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death."

So God, because of His love for us, sent Jesus to die on the cross to pay the penalty of our sins.  Romans 5:8 says "But God commanded His love towards us, in while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

To receive Jesus' sacrifice for our sins we must not only believe in God, but ask Him to save us from our sins (that makes Him SAVIOR) and then rule and reign in and over our lives (that makes Him LORD).  Romans 10:9-10 says:  "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved."

--God's gift to us is saving us if we ask Him to.  Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

NOW!  Right now!  You never know when you might die or be killed.  And after that, it's too late to be saved, and you will go to hell forever and ever.  Hebrews 3:7 says "Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts."  Also, II Corinthians 6:3 says "Behold, now IS the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."

Since God created us, it stands to reason that only God can save us from our sins.  And God has chosen Jesus as the way to do this.  Acts 4:12 says "Nor is there salvation found in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

Jesus said "Behold I stand at the door (your heart) and knock.  If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me."  Revelation 3:20.  In other words, Jesus WILL save you if you let Him into your heart and life.

The only way that God has given for us to know Him and have eternal life is through His Son Jesus.

     John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life._NKJV

     Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord._NKJV

Is there a way for you to come to God and have eternal life? Yes!

To begin a relationship with God today, and to know that you will live eternally with Him in heaven, then you need to: Believe that Jesus is the only way to God.

     John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me._NKJV

     Acts 4:12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”_NKJV

Admit that you are a sinner and need forgiveness.

     Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God _NKJV

     1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness._NKJV

Turn away from a lifestyle of sin and give yourself to God through His Son Jesus.

     Acts 20:21 testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ._NKJV

     John 3:36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”_NKJV

Ask Jesus to come into your life.

     Romans 10:13 For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved._NKJV

     John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:_NKJV

You can ask Jesus to come into your life and save you right now by sincerely praying this prayer:

Dear Lord Jesus,

I know I am a sinner and need forgiveness from you. I believe that You died on the cross and rose again from the dead in order that I might receive eternal life. I turn from my sins and ask forgiveness from You. Right now I invite You into my heart to be my Savior and Lord. Thank you for hearing my prayer and giving me Your gift of eternal life. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

You can know God in a personal relationship and have the promise of heaven when you die. Because God loves you so much, He gives you the opportunity to respond through faith so you can have eternal life.

     Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, _NKJV

     1 Timothy 2: 3-4 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth._NKJV
